Francesca Pitsch took over the management of the Swiss Pension Fund Study at Zürcher Kantonalbank in November 2022. The Swiss Pension Fund Study has been providing valuable insights into the second pillar for more than twenty years, monitoring the returns achieved by Swiss pension funds. It fulfils an important social task by presenting the current condition of Swiss pension funds.
Before joining Zürcher Kantonalbank, Francesca Pitsch worked at the Swiss National Bank in the area of financial market analysis and in quantitative risk management at the accounting firm EY in Zurich.
Francesca Pitsch holds a Master of Arts degree in Quantitative Economics & Finance from the University of St. Gallen.
She is also a member of the Pensions & Savings Committee of the Asset Management Association Switzerland, which has set itself the goal of making a fact-based contribution to the topic of pensions.
